Camping

Monthly Campouts - Activity Fees as necessary (our total activity fee for campouts in 2022 was $73.50 which is roughly $6/month)

Summer Camp (Bartle) - $465.00 (And possible activity fees based on sign-ups for outposts and certain merit badges) - made in four payments

Putting It All Together

  • For new Scouts that adds up to $793.50 (roughly $66/month) for an entire year of activities and attending every campout.
  • For recharter Scouts that adds up to (roughly $64/month) for an entire year of activities and attending every campout.

This makes Scouting one of the most cost-effective, year-round activities for your child. Most parents find that a full year of Scouting costs less than a single season of certain sporting activities. With the Scout Law of being Thrift, we focus on being as cost-efficient as possible in all of our activities and expenses.

In addition, payment programs and arrangements are available AND more importantly, our fundraising programs can offset the majority of your expenses.

Registered Adult Fees

If you plan on attending more than one-weekend campout with your Scout throughout the year, you must be registered with the BSA. All adults attending Summer Camp must be BSA registered. The good news is that registration fees for adults are less expensive.

National Fees: $45
Council Fees: $39
Troop 220 Dues: $26
New registration fee (if applicable): $25
Adults pay the Grubby for food at each weekend camp.
